Thank you all for at least thinking about supporting the Uberbean.  Here there are but a few ways that you can support me and support this comic.

Join The Uber Bean online community.  There are some simple ways to do this.  First, you can join the Uber Bean forums.  It's simple and just like any other forum.  Here, I occasionally post for story ideas.  it also gives you a way to interact with other people.  Also, you can sign up for the Frappr map dedFrappr map dedicated to this comic.  Finally, for facebook people, there is a facebook  fan page.

Link this comic. the bottom of this page, you will notice a few link banners.  Many of these are old, and will be replaced.  If you run a comic or any other website, go ahead and use those banners to link this site.  Each banner corresponds to one of the stories from the archives.  It's not hard to see whic  It's not hard to see which one.

Write that Wikipedia Article:  I have never taken the time to update the wikipedia site.  Reason being, I set up my comic and work on this website constantly.  Anyone, anyone, who would like to fairly update that site is welcome to do so!!

Visit and follow my blog.  My blog is also something I do regurally.  In it, I have several book reviews as well as advertisements.  The more people that follow, the more likely it is that I will be able to earn a little bit of income from it.

This comic does not cost me money, but it does cost me time.  Additionally, I cannot afford to keep up with advertising on my own.  If this comic is going to get promoted, it needs funds from readers!

Question: Why should I support the Uberbean?

Honestly, for no other reason other than you like the comic and you like me.  In fact, you can't hate one but like the other and still support it.  I like to think that this comic, like many others in our lives, provides a nice fun distraction during our boring office jobs.  Surely, that's worth something.

Oh, you don't have to donate to support a comic you enjoy, but then again you don't have to top your waitress or your bartender if they serve you.  Yes, I'm being a little tongue and cheek, but running a webcomic is a lot like being a street musician: we offer what we do for free, but sincerly hope people will drop something in the bucket rather than just staring at us.

I have a store now.

Actually, I am not rich.  I am graduate student.  Should I ever actually get excess money donated, I imagine I might do thinks like buy clothes and groceries.  Alternately, I might re-donate that money to my church or various Christian organizations like World Vision or Father Rohr's mediataion groups.

Only people who have never put the serious time and effort it takes to create artistic works say things like this.
